Alisha is the author and illustrator of the bestselling books Trevor the Mouse and His Unexpected House and Trevor the Mouse and the Grumpy Snowman.

Alisha has always had a knack for writing and rhyme. By the age of ten, she had her first work published after winning a local writing competition. She hasn’t stopped creating since.

Originally from New York State, Alisha now lives in Guatemala with her two children. She loves the adventure of motherhood and embraces a life filled with curiosity and exploration. She enjoys cooking and eating delicious food, spending time in nature, discovering new places with her family, and learning new things.

Alisha credits much of her love of writing to her father, who always encouraged her to read and write. One of her most cherished possessions is a stunning collection of more than 200 leather-bound classics, gifted to her by her father when she was a child. Among them, one of her all-time favorites, Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, spoke to her curious nature and stirred her imagination.
